Gather Network and Decentr Enter a Strategic Partnership

Gather Network and Decentr are extremely excited to announce a new business partnership to further empower their respective ecosystems.

Decentr’s web browser functions as a “portal to Web 3.0”. By creating a bridge between internet users and applications developed with distributed ledger technology (DLT), users can connect with user-centric applications built on Decentr’s open source platform, which enables users to manage and pay with their Personal Data Value (PDV). This data value is used to offset purchases made via the Decentr platform, making goods and services cheaper for the user while also allowing users to achieve a higher APY on various DeFi solutions.

Gather builds a marketplace based platform that allows publishers to monetize without ads and provides businesses & developers access to cheap and reliable processing power.

Decentr and Gather Network solutions are perfectly complementary to each other and create value for both sides. Through this collaboration, Decentr will be monetizing their web browser via Gather Online and will further reward their community in $DEC tokens via Gather’s loyalty program, while the Gather Ecosystem will be able to receive continuous processing power, with explicit consent via an opt in process using the Decentr Decosystem.

By having $DEC payouts integrated into Gather Online, $DEC will benefit from additional exposure to the global user base of Gather Online, who in most cases are first time Crypto users. This will also provide the Decentr community a further incentive to integrate Gather Online into their own websites or applications as in return, they will be able to generate additional revenue to their existing ads in $DEC tokens, where they can also choose to go ad-free to facilitate an enhanced user experience while still earning.

The details of the integration phases will follow as per project roadmaps in the coming months as both projects are currently putting heavy focus on further development to their main product developments.
