Introducing the first batch of $GTH Masternodes

We’re excited to finally initiate our first Masternode Allocation Program. Masternodes will have an essential role and be used as the backbone for Gather Cloud to provide continuous processing power and storage input as the main fuel for the Gather ecosystem, while earning rewards in the process. Masternodes will also enable further incentivization for maintenance and expansion of the network.

Managing a masternode will bring many benefits for the participants and the Gather community.

+ Post mainnet, 6% of Gather Cloud gross profits in $USDT are to be shared between masternodes. This is an industry-first extra special reward program, these rewards will be given on top of the default $GTH masternode rewards and will scale accordingly as Gather Cloud revenues increase.

+ 9 slots are reserved for the first batch (first come first served); 250,000 $GTH per masternode.

+ The collaterals for the first batch of masternodes will be subject to staking with 50% APY until the mainnet goes live. The rewards will be paid out every 2 weeks to the wallet addresses where tokens are received from, balances can be withdrawn anytime but there will be a 7 day waiting period before tokens are sent back. Gas fees will be deducted during the refund process.

+ Post mainnet, 22.5% of the block rewards will be dedicated to Masternodes. This is equal to 9,453,500 $GTH in total, which is to be shared between masternode owners, over the course of a year.

There will initially be 80 masternodes during mainnet go-live. Please don’t forget that we only have 9 slots for the first program.
Allocations will be open for a day, starting on December 8th, 9:00am EST and form will not accept responses when the slots are full.

Additional 1 slot will be used as a shared masternode and the details of the shared masternode program will follow separately.
